Fall is coming to Oregon

Ok, so now it has been like 8 months since I last documented events in our family life. So much has happened. We bought a new house, new job and both kids have had their 1st and 3rd birthday. What a blessing they are in our lives. God has given us many blessings, but has also brought us through so many trials and I want to give him all the glory and praise for that.

"We are sad, but we are always full of joy. We are poor, but we make many people rich. We have nothing, but we own everything". 2 Cor 6:10

This is the spirit of condition that God wants us to be. St. Paul has told us what to do under all such circumstances. Count it all joy. That is the secret. Count it all joy no matter what may come, agreeing with all adversity at once, antagonizing nothing; condemning no one, leaving criticism alone. Never be disappointed or discouraged, and have nothing whatever to do with worry. Whatever comes, count it all joy. He who meets adversity in the attitude of peace, harmony and joy will turn enemies into friends and failures into greater good.

Although circumstances are not what I think they should be or want them to be--I will continue to count all my adversities as joy and I will continue to rejoice until Jesus Christ returns. Praise him forever.

Here are some pictures of Lucia's 1st birthday. Lukas riding the motorcycle with Grandpa and loving every minute of it. Any chance he gets with Grandpa and his motorcycle, he takes it. How funny. I will try to keep up with my own current events and keep my family and friends posted.
